Month 27

I've finished my first year of school and summer is HERE! It's hard to believe that I've knocked out my first year of school. One down, only what, 20 more to go? I definitely hope going to college is like preschool, because if it is, then I know it will ROCK! From what I've heard, the two are actually a lot alike. For example, there is a party for EVERY occasion with lots of music and dancing. Another example, boys are ALWAYS trying to kiss on you...so watch out! Another, sometimes, especially after drinking a lot, you don't make it to the bathroom. And yet another, ROAD TRIP! To celebrate the end of school and the beginning of summer, that's just what Mommy and I did. We packed up and went for a loooooong drive with our friends Robin and Ella. We decided to go ALL the way to the mountains to visit Ella's Mimi and Papa. But FIRST, we stopped in Greensboro to pay a little visit to ELMO. Elmo was awesome and to all the kids out there, I basically think it's like if your parents went to a rock concert. I mean, we weren't throwing room keys or underwear at Elmo or anything. But that's only because we wear diapers, and that would just be gross. It was THAT awesome. The mountains were completely amazing too. Ella's Mimi and Papa have all sorts of animals. We saw chickens, cows, and even got to feed goats! Ella's Papa has a tractor and we got to ride all over the farm in it. I even got to drive. True story. I can tell you that Ella and I had the BEST time. Mommy and Robin had a great time too. By the time we got home, after a 6 hour drive, and no napping, and a 30 minute tantrum over not being aloud to chew on a top that was pretty serious choking hazard, I'm pretty sure I heard Mommy say something like she'd rather eat glass than drive in the car with me ever again, but I'm sure she was just kidding. Right? RIGHT???

Catching Up With Months 25 and 26

I know it has been a SUPER long time since I posted, but it hasn't been my fault. Really. It hasn't. We've been experiencing some technical difficulties around here and I've been able to access all of my pictures, and what would a blog about a fabulous toddler be without pictures? Boring. That's what. Since my last post was Month 24, I'm going to catch up with both Month 25 and 26 here, then get back on track in my next post with Month 27.

I enjoy hangin' around...
Not everyone can make a paci look this cool
Chasing the "tweet tweets" in Southport
Trust me, I WILL scream for ice cream
This is one of 2 baby turtles we found in our driveway. Mommy rescued a turtle out of the road last Spring and we are convinced these are her babies.

Isn't he/she cute?

Feeding the goats at Old McFaye's farm
Just my size!
With Mommy on the hayride
Nana came with us too!
Waiting for the horsey to come back around...it's basically like being at the Kentucky Derby...
But they're ponies, and I'm the jockey and I'm kinda scared...so maybe not like the Kentucky Derby at all.
Ella and I were so proud of our mommies for running a Mother's Day 5K...their 1st on EVER!
Busted! Putting on my make up for school.

Getting ready to go for a Sunday drive. I'm just jiving Miss Daisy...I don't drive. I have a Mommy for that!
Practicing for summertime
I like edamame. Like, a LOT.
What? Is something missing?
With the girls catching up on our soaps.

Surfing with Daddy
